A Lightworker has a deep knowing that they are meant to serve a higher purpose. They are drawn to help others and feel an internal clock ticking to fulfill their destiny on time. They have a strong desire to spread light by radiating love and healing. And, they are passionate about raising awareness, and promoting oneness and peace. Interestingly, they may not necessarily know exactly what their calling is at first.
Not all people are Lightworkers. And, not all Lightworkers have awakened to their calling, but they know they are here to do something important. A precept that Lightworkers seem to share, is their desire to shift the consciousness of humanity. They have a desire for mankind to become more aware, and also more mindful of their destructive habits and behaviors. In addition, devotion to personal development and self-healing are common traits among Lightworkers.
Lightworkers have a profound respect for life. They are kind, compassionate and empathetic. A Lightworker values connection and harmony. They are particularly sensitive to witnessing violence. Many will feel they don’t belong in this world. They know that they are here to assist humanity and will focus on their mission to do so before they return “home.”
There are three types of Lightworkers: Healers, Guardians, and Responders. A Lightworker can be all three types, a mix of them, or just one. But each awakened Lightworker will identify as being one primary type. They might also aid other Lightworkers on their missions as a secondary duty.
Because a Lightworker senses urgency for action, they have an almost insatiable need to work to fulfill their duty to the planet. In addition, they operate without the need or want for praise, approval, attention or thanks. Due to their sensitivities, many prefer to keep a low profile while also trying to keep life free of distractions.
Energyworker (Faith Healer/ Channeler)
An Energyworker feels their calling is to be of service to heal the world. They are of the belief that they are a conduit of the Light, capable of transmitting healing energy. They carry a sense of urgency to acquire knowledge and training to carry out healing work. Specifically, by interacting with the Source of Creation (Light), restorative and rejuvenating energy is sent where it is requested or needed.
These Lightworkers will often learn different healing methods or techniques to assist their mission. Meditation is a central means of connecting to the Source. Ritual and Ceremony are also ways that an Energyworker will connect with the Divine to begin to channel sacred energy. They believe their actions and teachings about vibration and frequency will align the consciousness of the planet to move closer to spiritual ascension. This group will often refer to their community as a “Circle.”
Warrior or Protector (Guardian)
Warriors and Protectors are driven to right the injustices and abuses that Mother Earth is suffering from. Restoring and protecting the health and well-being of the Earth is their calling. This group of Lightworkers is involved with being of service to the planet. They place their healing light into Environmental causes.
A Guardian’s primary connection is to the physical and spiritual natures of the Earth realm. Their energy is strongly in tune with elemental forces. This group also carries a sense of urgency to acquire knowledge and training to become liberators of the planet. Guardians believe their actions and teachings affect a shift in consciousness for mankind to give back to the Earth and respect it as a living entity. They most often refer to their community as a “Tribe.”
Rights Advocate (Responder)
Rights Advocates are Lightworkers compelled to save lives, relieve suffering, and maintain the dignity of a sentient being. Their primary focus is centered around the value of consciousness and sentience. The empathy and compassion shared between souls guides them on their mission.
Their calling is to ensure that access to basic needs such as food, water, shelter, clothing, safe environmental conditions and caring human connection can be met. This group of Lightworkers is involved in field mission work or activism for many types of social and political issues. These include Humanitarian, Civil Liberties and Animal Welfare causes. Responders believe their actions and teachings about mercy and compassion will impact humanity to cease the causes of suffering. This group will often refer to their community as “Family.”
Other Responders and Unconscious Lightworkers (Ally/Good Samaritan)
A public service employee (teacher, emergency service, healthcare or social worker, etc.) may or may not be a Lightworker depending on their reason for entering into their profession. For example, some enter into a service field wanting to be genuinely helpful, yet they feel no draw or pull to channel for the sake of saving the planet. These souls are called Allies or Good Samaritans.
Good Samaritans choose their public service career because it is helpful to society. In contrast, a Lightworker’s role works with urgency to shift consciousness for the good of global humanity. These responders can be motivated by rewards, such as an attractive financial return for their time, training and knowledge. Working relationships are referenced as “co-workers”, “associates” or “colleagues.”
Especially fit to note is that although these souls are not “Global Humanity Lightworkers,” their service to society is viewed by the Lightworker community as essential. Since their duties are valuable building blocks towards higher purpose, it is common for Good Samaritans to be called Lightworker allies.
